CBC AND ZIM TECHNOLOGIES DELIVER SMS NEWS UPDATES

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and ZIM Technologies International Inc. today introduces new SMS service, CBC Mobile News Updates. This pilot project enables subscribers to receive updates on their mobile phones via SMS (Short Message Service) text messages. Subscribers can choose from a variety of categories such as: the pages of newspapers, including Canada, business, world and entertainment stories, sports, amateur sports like hockey and updates, and the region, offers subscribers the option to choose the updates of the provinces and territories. โ € œWe are pleased to offer users the CBC now a new access to our news. Mobile Tech News Service offers our members the opportunity to receive our updates when you want and how they want their mobile phone, โ € said Bob Kerr, Director of New Media Association. The service is simple to use. Subscribers Access to the CBC Web site (cbc.ca / Wireless) go to the link and fill out the short registration form ZIM. Users customize their registration in the election of the categories of news and who want to receive updates. The information is delivered to your mobile phone as an SMS text message. โ € œSMS text messaging is a convenient and cost effective way to obtain information when and wherever.
